I think Chinese will become a worlds language. Because china is the largest population in the world. I think many Chinese go abroad and make friends. So mabye some people want to try to learn and speak Chinese. And also our school studies Chinese as a second foreign language. So I think Chinese will also become a worlds language too as English.

I think a little difficult ,because even china is the largest population in the world,many people speak Chinese ,but chinese is made by kanji and pinyin it is difficult to study .But most of nations languages are made by alphabet this is easy for them to read.And now most of the world's data are stored in English ,if you want try to translate all of them into chinese is too hard.

ReplyDeleteI'm learning Chinese for second foreign language. But I think to learn Chinese is very difficult. Because now I don't use Chinese in my normal life. I have some Chinese friends who can't speak Japanese. When I talk with them I use English.
I had been to China and Taiwan. I went to there, I used English when I was shopping and asked something to people. So, I don't need Chinese to talk with Chinese people. Now Chinese and Taiwanese can use English.
But now so many Chinese live in all over the world. Japan,too. Yokohama has so many Chinese people. Around the Yokohama China town, there are many Chinese and they are useing Chinese in their conversation and the business. So I think in the future if I can use the Chinese I can talk with Chinese people we can understand each othere more deeply than we use English.
In conclusion, if I can use Chinese that is more good for our life but, also Chinese people are stadying English. So I don't think Chinese will become world langage.

Although China's economy is expanding, English is still existing as the world's language and as the second language not just in other non-English country or people but in China as well. Yes, MAYBE Chinese has a chance to become the world's language in the future. We should not close our mind about the possibility of it because according to Wikipedia, China is the world's fastest-growing major economy over the past 30 years and is also the largest exporter and second largest importer of goods in the world. It is also the largest manufacturing economy in the world. Because of these, China has been the favored investment target for countless companies located in the mature markets. Anywhere we go, there are Chinese people and almost everything in the market are made in China. Furthermore, Chinese companies just don't stay in their country. They also expand their businesses in other countries. We all know that China is a large country with a large population so China's global influence is continuing to expand. I think in order for us to connect with them is not just through speaking English but through speaking their language. But, i think it will not be as easy as they may think. China has a lot of problems within its country and with other country as well. And another thing is, the way they write. It's a fact that Chinese use kanjis which are really difficult to write and understand. For now, we can say that English is still the world's language and MAY never be replaced.

I agree with you.I am studying Chinese for second language class at school,but it is really difficult.Japanese can write kanji,and we can not read the sentence,we can understand a little from kanji,but other foreigner maybe cannot it.

I think Chinese have a possibility to become the world's language,but it take many times to achieve perfectly, and I can not think Chinese become the world's language,maybe it will become the second language.I have two reasons.First,now,many people study and use English around the world.Almost important imfomation and other documents written by English,and almost conferences are using English,so I think it is more easier Chinese people study English than foreigners studies Chinese.Second,I'm studying Chinese at school,but it is very difficult!!!!!!!Chinese characters are more difficult than Japanese Kanji.It is too difficult for foreign language spearker .In future, I want to talk with my friends by English,because I am not good at Chinese.It is really difficult.lol

But if Japan adopts Chinese as a second language, the economic power spreads with the Chinese speakers at a stretch. Because Japanese is a country using the only Kanji any place other than the Chinese side. So if China becomes democratic in the process and can bring up universal culture loved and respected by all world people in the Chinese zone... but it is impossible maybe.

In fact, people who originally use Chinese as a first language is about 1billion people and English is about 350million people. Overwhelmingly, Chinese speakers are more than English speaker originally.
But, country like India and Pakistan that their first language is Hindi uses English as the country’s official language. So the people use English as the country’s official language is more than Chinese now. That’s why the world language is English now.
Also, the economic strength of China is growing now.

ReplyDeleteWhen you go to a trip, you can use your English in about 80 different countries. China, Singapore and Malaysia are using Chinese as official language but it`s much fewer than the countries which is using English as official language.
By these numbers, you can see how much English is popular than Chinese.
Also Chinese is hard to study. If you want to learn English, the words you have to know is only 46 letters but Chinese… thousands of words you have to learn and they are all complicated to write.
If Chinese will become the world`s language, that`s a big news and it should be informed on the TV by now but I never saw it…

China has become one of the largest business hubs in the world, so many businessman associate with Chinese people, but it doesn't mean Chinese language will be the world's common language. I think English will still be the World's common language for many reasons. Firstly,many countries use English as their second language, and many countries are eager to study English to be able to communicate with the people around the world, however, I think many people study Chinese to be able to communicate to Chinese people for business purposes only. Because many Chinese people studying English from elementary school. If Chinese become would language china eduction will be change. That is difficult for china to change eduction.
And Study Chinese is no easy because Chinese is made by kanji and pinyin that was troublesome for foreigner. One foreigner who want to spoken very well English should take 3~5years but Chinese should take 5~7years.

ReplyDeleteThis video showed me how important to study foreign language while people are young. I agree with this way, but why only Chinese? Now, China is improving so quickly. Of course, Chinese is going to be world's language in the near future, I think, but what's the next? Which country will be improved next? We don't know that and that's why people all around the world are studying Chinese right now. We can't see the future, so we try to see it hard everytime, but as a result, we can see just the near future. In the long run, every countries have possibilities to be improved. Every languages have them, also. So... what I want to say is "don't see the near future. See the far future."

I think Chinese will not become word’s language. All people in China speak Chinese (most people speak Chinese), but people in another country don’t use it. As a result most people speak English as second words. There are two reasons.
ReplyDeleteFirst Chinese has a lot of words, so many people don’t remember that. Therefore many country give up to study Chinese. But many people study English in junior high school to senior high school because it’s easier than Chinese.
Second it’s difficult to listen to Chinese, especially Sichuan. The word cannot listen even Chinese.
In conclusion Chinese will not become word’s language.

ReplyDeleteI think Chinise will not become world language. It is too difficult to learn Chinese for many people, because they have many kanji and pronunciation is also difficult.
Chinese population is largest in the world but, for them Chinese is mother tongue. There are less people who speak Chinese as a second language. It means Chinese is spoken in only China, Taiwan…
However English is spoken in many countries as second language. For example Phillipins, India… so on. It means English is not only spoken in U.S.A or U.K… I have a friend who lives in Taiwan. I communicate with her in English.
When I search something on Internet. It’s easy to find something in English because there are many websites written in English
At the end, English will still world language in the future.
I was suprised with the power of the women when she had her speech. I wish I can do my speech like her someday.
